General Operative

Location: Harlow Engineered Floors, Loughborough, LE11 5GW

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 12.30pm Friday

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated General Operative to join our team at Harlow Engineered Floors, LE11 5GW. Production of I-Beam is made up of all the tasks and processes required to take premanufactured product and components from stock and compiling them as complete sales order. This is the collated and loaded for delivery as per the journey manifest. The General Operative role has full overall responsibility to co-ordinate the production activities to ensure customer service targets are completed through the various teams.

What you’ll be doing as a General Operative:

Working in a safe manner, to ensure you put your colleague’s and own safety first.

Ensuring orders are prepared to the correct requirements on time and to standard.

Ensuring all orders are collated on time and to standard.

Ensuring that all working environments are to a high standard when it comes to housekeeping.

Maintaining all working machinery to ensure longevity to the companies equipment.

Your Skills:

Sound knowledge of a production environment.

Good knowledge of health and safety in a production environment.
