Class 2 HGV Driver

Location: Harlow Kidderminster, Hoobrook Industrial Estate, Worcester Road, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY10 1HY.

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 42.5 Hours Per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated HGV Category C Driver to join our team in Long Whatton. The HGV Category C Driver will have an enthusiasm for customer service and be confident to work as part of a team and under their own initiative.

What you’ll be doing as a Category C Driver:

• Making deliveries in a Class 2 vehicle.
• Ensuring that all products are safely loaded and secured.
• Ensuring loads are correct against the customers’ orders.
• Ensuring delivery is safe to make and respecting customer’s property.
• Provide first class customer service.

Your Skills:

Full Driving licence for a (Cat C+E) HGV vehicle with Digi-card and full Driver CPC is essential.

Fork-lift licence would be an advantage. 

Hiab Experience preferable but not essential.

Excellent customer service skills.

A flexible approach to work, there is an element of manual offloading required

Ability to follow health and Safety procedures and protocols, including reporting hazards and incidents

Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments
